adequate, but could be better
worn mattress low water pressure
Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, so that was something.
The room felt pretty dated, as if trapped in another era. The mattress springs were worn, so sleep was not comfortable. I suspect a replacement is long overdue. the shower barely had any water pressure making it difficult to rinse properly.

cornish breakfast helpful staff pleasant staff thin wall small car park clear marking
i stayed in a double room. the size of the room was good. the breakfast included a well cooked full cornish. the staff were very helpful. the staff were pleasant too.
the walls seemed thin. i could hear noise easily. the car park was small, it lacked clear markings. it was difficult to find a space.

acceptable location, disappointing room
uncomfortable bed miserable staff
The location is central. It is close to the train station and local buses.
The room felt quite dated on first impression. the toilet did not flush well (a very basic function). the bed was uncomfortable. i felt unwelcome because of the miserable staff. i only stayed two nights. That was enough.

The staff were helpful and friendly. I found on-site parking very useful. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. The room was spacious and clean with a good bathroom.
